River Ridge Louisiana still showing signs of a
strong bat population still! Here's a picture of some bats that simply needed to go! They just didn't want to go! These bats only hung around a day or so and then found a new place, but more than likely they already had additional headquarters in mind. Bats in New Orleans are the Mexican Free-tailed variety and are rather small so they can literally tuck in almost anywhere. Small cracks and crevices are what they prefer and the hotter the better it seems - I read that bats prefer 109 degree temps to raise young but I have seen them on the underside of a shingle measuring 143! That's hot!
If you see that dirty wall, that's what happens in one night but after repeated use bats can really muddy up an area, check out the following picture!
This house had bats in the column posts! If you have brown spots like these on your columns, then you might have bats! If you are not sure - give me a call! We clean out attic insulation, bat crap (Guano) and we can even replace the insulation as well! We sub out the A/C work but when we are done it is all handled!

Thanks for sharing this. We've been wanting to find someone that does bat removal in Monroe, GA. If you have any suggestions, let me know, thanks!
I guess it makes sense that there would be bat removal in New Orleans. Especially die to the fact that it is a swamp environment.
