| Foam used to keep out bats - ugly and stupid! |
Bat removal gone wrong! This is what happens when you DO NOT hire an experienced professional to get rid of your bat problem. Notice the line of staples as well (classy right?), an indication that a net was hung to "safely and humanely" remove the bats prior to this horrible excuse for a bat exclusion. I might add that the reason I was called here was because they still have bats!
The best idea is to call someone and check the references. Ask them what kind of materials they are going to use and maybe even an example of a completed project. Also, new to the area is a "Humane" company that asks for the money up front (all of it) and then never returns. You should report this to Wildlife and Fisheries immediately! This type of nonsense needs to stop!

This is an extreme close up, taken at the time it was done so the sealant will dry to a somewhat darker color. Now, what that means is that from a distance, even the color of the mortar repair will blend perfectly almost every time!
So, bat removal buyer beware in the New Orleans area - It is sad to say but someone needs to point it out -for some reason Alabama seems to be a festering pot of criminal activity in this business and you can quote me on that. If you're hiring an out of state company, be sure to check that they are even licensed in Louisiana!

Wow, that foam job of the out-of-state company! I wouldn't want that on my house. It doesn't look good at all and I doubt it keeps the bats away.
We have a three companies in my area that do bat work like that. It is hard to get a customer to trust a wildlife removal company after they have been burned by one of those guys.
Customers call me here in the Fayetteville, North Carolina area after suffering through a similar bad experience. These customers are usually frustrated and reluctant to trust another wildlife "professional". Their usual experience is that the first company now will not answer or return their calls after being paid in full.

Charles got rid of the bats we had living on our patio. We had no idea they were even there until our son heard them when he was doing some work in the attic. One night we sat on the patio at dusk and counted more than seventy as they came out. Charles came almost immediately after we called him. I don't know where the bats went but they aren't living at our house anymore. I would recommend him without hesitation....he did a great job!

Simply call only Professional bat removal or wildlife removal company who have the experience necessary to remove an animal within side the most secure manner possible. Not only will a expert remove the animal out of your house, however they may additionally safely release it again into the wild.
